Campinas is the largest hearing center in Latin America fully dedicated to ENT and hearing devices including cochlear implants. Their otological team has 4 staff physicians, 4 fellowships and 5 audiologists. Their faculty includes 18 training stations in video endoscopic surgery and microsurgery as well as virtual surgery lab.

Its multidisciplinary treatment includes diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation at all levels of complexity. The center has been serving over 6 million people in 90 cities in the Metropolitan Region of Campinas and surrounding area and counts over 50 thousand medical visits per year.

About Us

The Institute of Otorhinolaryngology & Head and Neck Surgery in Campinas counts over five decades of superior service taking on the challenge of further enhancing its purpose of promoting high-quality healthcare throughout the country. Founded on the tradition and history of the Unicamp School of Medical Sciences, the Institute already rises with its unquestionable national and international recognition in the medical education of undergraduate, graduate and post graduate levels. This project is unique in the public university environment.

As part of Unicamp, as well as the International Hub for Sustainable Development, the Institute has partnered with the Innovation Agency INOVA Unicamp, with the Technology Park of Unicamp and other institutes and colleges of the University with access to the top research and development centers of the High Technology Hub, such as the National Synchrotron Light Laboratory and the Eldorado Institute.
