We are proud to let you know that a paper created by some of our brilliant HEARRING experts has been published just recently! This study is titled “Towards a Consensus on an ICF-Based Classification System for Horizontal Sound-Source Localization” and is aimed to develop a consensus classification system for the reporting of sound localization testing results, especially in the field of cochlear implantation.

As a result, a novel classification system was proposed to report localization errors according to the widely accepted International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) framework.

HEARRING Group continues with our seasonal Round Table discussions. We are glad to announce that the next online event of this series – Spring HEARRING Round Table – is less than a month away!

Its topic will be “Structure and Hearing Preservation – the whole experience”. The event will take place in Zoom on the 24th of March at 15:00 CET Time.
